Sir Peter Jackson has just posted on his Facebook page a photo from the last day of shooting on The Hobbit. It’s nothing earth-shattering but it is a cool image to signify the two Hobbit films are moving into their next phase. Expect to see a lot of new promo coming our way soon.
Along with the photo came this nice wee message: “We made it! Shoot day 266 and the end of principal photography on The Hobbit. Thanks to our fantastic cast and crew for getting us this far, and to all of you for your support! Next stop, the cutting room. Oh, and Comic-Con! Cheers, Peter J.”
Comic Con is next week. I wonder what footage Jackson will unveil? A full trailer for the first film perhaps?
