FLIGHT

USA | 139 minutes | Drama, Thriller | Director: Robert Zemeckis (Forest Gump, Cast Away)

Flight CRR

Hero or Villain? Denzel Washington plays a pilot whose drinking may have caused the mid-air emergency which forced him to save the lives of those on board in spectacular style. Reasons to see it: the trailer looks great, I’ll watch Denzel in anything, it’s a Robert Zemeckis film, and that landing sequence has to seen on the big screen.

HITCHCOCK

USA | 99 minutes | Biography, Drama | Director: Sacha Gervasi (debut feature)

Hitchcock CRR

The life and times of Alfred Hitchcock – or at least the part when he made Psycho. With one of the greatest thrillers ever made as its setting, and Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren in the lead roles, how could this film not deliver?

ON AIR

France | 87 minutes | Comedy, Drama | Director: Pierre Pinaud (debut feature)

On Air CRR

A famous radio host is forced to confront her past when she goes in search of a woman she believes to be her long lost mother. Described by critics as both poignant and humourous, this looks like yet another French charmer.

AWIL The Thing CRR

217 minutes of retro heaven. It will be amazing to see these on the big screen again; especially The Thing – one of my all-time favourites!
