Superman’s return – not to be confused with Superman Returns (heaven forbid!). Here, Clarke Kent struggles with his sense of purpose after growing up a refugee on Earth. But his hand is forced when former Krypton strongman General Zod threatens Earth with destruction if the Man of Steel does not surrender to him.

After the last disappointment, will this be the film we’ve all been waiting for? It sure looks like it.

A motorcycle stunt rider turns to robbing banks to provide for his ex-lover and their newborn child – a decision that puts him on a collision course with an ambitious rookie cop navigating a department ruled by a corrupt detective.

From the director of Blue Valentine, so you know this won’t be a comedy. But it sure will be a riveting and tense drama – one that doesn’t pull any punches.

Antonia Prebble’s stock continues to rise with this intriguing-looking drama – and by the looks of it, rightly so.
