God Bless America is the new film from Bobcat Goldthwait (World’s Greatest Dad), about a middle aged man (Joel Murray) and a teenage girl (Tara Lynne Barr) who go on a killing spree, fuelled by their hatred of Reality TV. I’m sold! Check out the first images from the film below.

Bobcat, known for his black comedy, had the following to say to about God Bless America:  “There’s a middle aged guy and he’s at home watching a show like ‘My Super Sweet 16.’ There’s always a horrible kid who gets everything she wants. ‘I wanted an Escalade! You ruined everything!’ So he’s sitting at home watching a show like that and he drives 400 miles and kills that girl — spoiler alert! — and then her classmate is going ‘Did you kill Chloe?’ He doesn’t say anything, and she goes ‘Awesome.’ So then they get in this stolen Camero and drive around and kill people. We’re hoping for a Christmas release.”

So similar to how I feel after watching The Bachelor or Rock of Love…

Does this sound like something you might watch?  Do you feel it could provide some MTV catharsis ?
