The Dark Knight Rises has had some brilliant promo. The recent character posters were very cool. Well, except those for Catwoman. Gone was the attitude and sass synonymous with her character. But fear not, she’s back!

Ok, it’s only her boot but this is more like it. Attitude plus. Who’s side is she really on? I hope Nolan gives Catwoman’s love-hate relationship with Bats a decent amount of screen time in order for us to get invested – not just rely on the past to fill in the blanks.

But the big question is can Anne Hathaway pull it off? Can she even get close to Michelle Pfeiffer‘s spellbinding portrayal?

 Eight years after The Dark Knight, the terrorist leader Bane arrives in Gotham City, pushing it and its police force to the limits, forcing its former hero Batman to resurface after taking the fall for Harvey Dent.

Directed by Christopher Nolan, The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Nestor Carbonell and Matthew Modine.
