Since I’m not really the target audience for this charming Kiwi film, I thought I’d ask my resident 8-year-old to write the review for me. He’s well qualified. He’s seen it twice!
(Note: Review contains spoilers. We didn’t want to change his words. If you’ve seen the trailer, you kinda know what happens anyway.)
“Kiwi Flyer was very funny because of all the jokes where people either stepped in poo or got splattered with poo. Ben Walker and his friend Jeff make a go-cart (trolley). Their first test time is horrible. The next one is really good, but the Aussies cheat and put engines in their car to win. Ben finds out they are using compressed gas to go really fast. They beat Ben and Jeff’s best test time, but at the big race day one of the Aussies takes one of Ben’s axles and he loses one of his wheels. He puts it back and wins the final and is named king of the hill.
Kiwi Flyer will be enjoyed by children, young adults and will probably cause a lot of laughs.
