Thoughts:
Asghar Farhadi is a master filmmaker. His character-driven films really invest you in the lives of the characters. EVERYBODY KNOWS is no exception.
However, a mystery/drama/thriller film like this ultimately relies on it’s conclusion. Unfortunately for me I was left a little flat – which shows just how invested I was to begin with.
Definitely worth a another watch I think, to see how I feel after a second viewing.
