Some good looking films opening this week. FOTW is a close call between Kingsman: The Secret Service, Selma and The Theory of Everything. Which would you choose?

Loved Kick-Ass, so this should be an absolute blast.

ME, MYSELF AND MUM
France, Belgium | 86 minutes | Comedy
Director: Guillaume Gallienne (debut feature)
Cast: Guillaume Gallienne, André Marcon, Françoise Fabian, Nanou Garcia, Diane Kruger, Reda Kateb, Götz Otto
Gallienne’s one-man stage show exploring his unbringing, mommy-issues and sexuality, gets the big screen treatment.
It’s often tricky to get the conversion right – not that I’ve seen the play, mind you. Looks like there are some laughs to be had.

THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING
UK | 123 minutes | Biography, Drama, Romance
Director: James Marsh (Man on Wire, The King, Project Nim)
Cast: Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones, Emily Watson, David Thewlis, Charlie Cox, Harry Lloyd, Adam Godley, Enzo Cilenti, Maxine Peake, Charlotte Hope, Tom Prior
The life of theoretical physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking; from his marriage to wife Jane, and his horrific ALS diagnosis aged just 21, to his research that changed the way we look at the universe.
So keen to see this after rave reviews for Redmayne’s performance – and also because I have a small crush on Felicity Jones.
Distributor: Paramount Pictures
