The final film of Todd Phillip‘s Hangover trilogy, The Hangover Part III, arrives 23 May. Nine new posters have turned up online featuring the key characters, including fan favourite Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and a couple of the film’s non-human cast – a giraffe and a rather vicious looking rooster. New cast member John Goodman (Argo, Monsters Inc.) gets a look in as the film’s antagonist – the leader of a criminal gang on the hunt for Chow (Ken Jeong). No sign of Mike Tyson but Heather Graham (and son, Carlos) also gets a poster. So does this mean a bigger role for the ‘hooker with the heart of gold’? In the Wolfpack’s final adventure Alan is ordered to rehab – so Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) and Doug (Justin Bartha) offer to take him on (you guessed it) one last trip. But things go awry when they’re ambushed by a gang tracking down gangster-cum-friend Chow. Before they know it the boys end up back in Vegas, where it all began. Looks like the Wolfpack’s alcohol and drug-fuelled past may come back to haunt them. Maybe they’ll want to drink to forget this time. Here’s hoping the new film can recreate the magic of the first.
