Universal Pictures have released a teaser poster for the sixth instalment of their Fast & Furious franchise, simply titled Fast & Furious 6, ahead of the teaser trailer screening during this afternoon’s Super Bowl. It’s a nice, simple poster featuring an old school vehicle, the distinctive back of Vin Diesel and the tag line “All Roads Lead To This” – although I have strong feeling this won’t be their last outing. The film picks up directly after Dom (Diesel), Brian (Paul Walker) and Co.’s $100 million Rio heist in Fast Five. The crew has scattered across the globe but is brought back together by police enforcer Hobbs (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) who needs help to defeat a criminal driving gang operating around the globe. Their reward? Full pardons so they can “return home and make their families whole again” – aw, bless. However as we found out at the end of the last episode, Dom’s ex-squeeze Letty (Michelle Rodriquez) is still very much alive and is, as it turns out, one of the leaders of the criminal group. It was never going to be simple, now was it? You keen on another instalment? Five was definitely an improvement, so let’s hope they can build on that.
