Our pick of the films opening today is Mike Wallis’ Kiwi take on the classic Spaghetti Western, Good for Nothing. Dubbed a ‘Pavlova Western’, it’s one of the most enjoyable pieces of cinema I’ve seen in quite a while.

Y’all better saddle up and mosey on down to the cinema, ya hear!

Here’s the trailer:

An English lady is immigrating out West but is kidnapped by a rugged outlaw who attempts to have his way with her but suffers from an unfortunate case of erectile dysfunction. Action and adventure unfold in this original take on the classic Western.

Written and Directed by Mike Wallis, the film stars Cohen Holloway, Inge Rademeyer, Jon Pheloung, Richard Thompson, and Toa Waaka.
