“I’m Gotham’s reckoning.” The final trailer for Christoper Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises is out. And it’s a beauty.

It’s also a very Nolan trailer. It doesn’t give much away. But from what we do see, his third and last Batman film will be rough and tough, down and dirty. Batman’s in for one heck of a fight.

The terrorist leader Bane has arrived in Gotham City. But he doesn’t really like the place much, so has appointed himself as judge, jury and executioner. Can Batman stop him or will this be the end for Gotham? And whose side is Catwoman on? We find out on July 19.

Enjoy!

It really is a great trailer. I love the piano notes at the beginning. They provide a real sense of impending doom. And the Batwing looks unbelievably cool. I can’t wait to see that in action on the big screen.

I’m still not sure about Bane though. Having said that, Nolan’s trailers haven’t told us much, so we’re just gonna have to wait and see how the character develops and if Bane becomes one of the great Batman villains.

Does this trailer do it for you? How high is your excitment level for this film?

Eight years after The Dark Knight, the terrorist leader Bane arrives in Gotham City, pushing it and its police force to the limits, forcing its former hero Batman to resurface after taking the fall for Harvey Dent.
