A period drama about youth rebellion or the comedy stylings of a foul-mouthed teddy bear? Tough choice I know. Why not see both!

First up we have Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane‘s feature film debut, Ted. If you’re familiar with MacFarlane, then you know what to expect – a riotous, highly inappropriate laugh-fest involving a hapless male and a talking animal (of sorts).

(Warning: R18 trailer. Not for little’uns.)

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted. In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett, a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish…and has refused to leave his side ever since.

Directed by Seth MacFarlane, the film stars Mark Wahlberg (Contraband), Mila Kunis (Black Swan), Giovanni Ribisi (Avatar), Patrick Warburton (Family Guy) and Joel McHale (TV’s Community).
