In less than two months The Dark Knight Rises hits cinemas. Mark July 19 in your calendar now (if you haven’t already). After the superb final trailer we now get to enjoy some cool new character posters and a new film poster.

The first up we have the snow series…

Batman looks heroic and Bane looks villainous, but Catwoman looks far too demure on her bike – more Selina Kyle than Catwoman. I really like the imagery but the buildings at the bottom look a bit odd and they could’ve done without them.

Next up the rain series…

The poses are striking but it’s all a little too black for my liking.

Lastly we have the new film poster, which brings the fire…

Head down but first clenched. What could this mean? Is all lost and Gotham destined to burn? Or is Bats the one about to dish out some fiery justice?

I like this poster but it has drawn derision from fans, because all they’ve done is add in Batman and some flames to the original poster launched in July 2011.
