It’s been a little while since we last saw promo for Carrie, the horror reboot from director Kimberly Peirce (Boys Don’t Cry). But today a rather cool motion poster popped up online.

Taking its cue from the World War II-era British public safety poster that’s become a popular marketing gimmick in recent times, it plays on the words “Keep Calm and Carry On”.

Divided into segments, the poster reveals micro clips of dramatic moments from the film, including a seriously creepy shot of a blood-soaked Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick Ass, Let Me In) as Carrie White – keep an eye on the middle panel.

This is one reboot I’m really excited for – mainly because of Moretz, who is super talented and has good taste in remakes.

Carrie lights up our cinemas on 14 November.

(Note: This is a US poster and they get the film in October.)

You like? Is Moretz the perfect choice to play this iconic character?

.

Carrie White is an outcast amongst her high school peers due to her mother’s extreme religious beliefs. Upon discovering hidden telekinetic abilities, she uses her newly-developed powers to take revenge against her tormenters at the senior prom.

Directed by Kimberly Peirce, the films stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Julianne Moore, Judy Greer, Gabriella Wilde, Alex Russell, Max Topplin, Portia Doubleday, Conner Price, Skyler Wexler and Ansel Elgort.

Carrie open 14 November, 2013.
